San Francisco Performances’ 2024–25 season opens in grand style with a special performance celebrating the 90th anniversary of the founding of Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt’s pioneering continental jazz quintet in Paris, the Quintette du Hot Club de France. The accomplished and versatile musicians of the Hot Club will transport you to the jazz clubs of 1930’s Paris and the refined lounge of the famed Hotel Ritz. “There aren’t enough superlatives to describe their sound,” writes All About Jazz.
