About Music of Remembrance

Founded by pianist Mina Miller, Music of Remembrance (MOR) has performed annually in San Francisco since 2014. MOR has had a unique impact through works that honor the resilience of all people excluded or persecuted for their faith, nationality, gender, or sexuality. In addition to preserving the legacy of composers who had the courage to speak out through their art at even the darkest of times, MOR has commissioned over 45 new works by some of today’s leading composers to address challenges to human rights and dignity today.
