This motivating wellness class set to invigorating music will boost your day with engaging exercise activities, gentle stretching, and low-impact cardio. Together, we’ll improve your well-being through a balance of energizing, fun circus-inspired activities and relaxing guided meditation to optimize your mental and physical well-being during these uncertain times.
You’ll learn to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression with easy self-care practices designed to help you stay healthy, boost your immune system, and become your best self!
What to bring: Water bottle, yoga mat or blanket, and playfulness.
Meet the Instructor
Lance McGee is a health & wellness consultant, drama therapist, and performer. He leads regular trainings on self-care, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, and has developed a Trauma-Informed School framework for Bay Area school teachers, using his past years as a school-based counselor in Oakland Public Schools utilizing Drama and Play Therapies. McGee is also an entertainer named Unique Derique who has performed on television and around the globe to international acclaim and combines his circus and comedic performance talents with his wellness skills to bring laughter and fun to all ages.
COVID-19 SAFETY:
This class will take place in the outdoor Plaza of the Presidio Theatre. Temperatures will be taken upon entering and participants will be required to wear a mask and maintain at least 6-feet of distance at all times.
